Larissa Velez-Jackson invited me to perform with them and their collaborators as part of a residency at Chapman Steamer Arts Center in Newburgh, NY. This was a fantastic time in the beautiful and wild world of Yackez. I got to become Zee, an orange “Z” anti-mascot and once again be under the mentorship of David Brick.
